While the Kingdom of Veck places great importance on the versatility of the human form in an Arche-Ymirus mech, the Republic of Karsten’s version of a fortification-type Arche-Ymirus mech, the Rampart Titan, is a mobile fortress.
To catch up in the Arche-Ymirus mech arms race, the Republic of Karsten enacted the “Eagle's Blood Act” to plunder Arche ruins. The act is executed by the Magistrate Narcissus who can deploy elite forces and state-of-the-art technology. The goal was to amass resources early to build an Arche-Ymirus mech in order to remove all obstacles on the path of pursuing the Arche ruins. The result was the completion of the strategic weapon, the Rampart Titan.
As the nucleus of the “Eagle's Blood Act” strike group, the idea was not to rebuild Ymirus but to construct them as “mobile fortresses.” To enhance tactical flexibility, this mobile fortress is equipped with the ability to transform into humanoid form.
In addition to being able to utilize the Aetheromagnetic field effect for a rapid switch between humanoid combat and fortification defense modes, this mobile fortress is equipped with powerful offensive and defensive capabilities. Unlike Frost Light, which wields handheld weapons, Rampart Titans make use of embedded and fixed armaments. Shoulder-mounted turrets provide rapid-fire capabilities and release a barrage of fire on the battlefield. In close combat, the triple armblades, once charged, can tear through opponents with ease. Furthermore, they can switch into fortification mode at any time to neutralize enemy attacks.
